Having fun and joy in movement is essential for all people, regardless of whether they have an impairment or not. Artem, a student at the HTL Donaustadt, is therefore working on his project “Hear and Jump” with an assistance system that can be used for various forms of play. Several soft floor mats are equipped with loudspeakers and human sensors. The sensor should recognize if there is a person on the mat or not. With this assistance system, games such as “musical chairs”, “under and over”, “floor is lava”, “memory”, “jumping games” can be played by blind and visually impaired students in the future.
