Sensor suspension inside a bell ball – Research topic September & October 2023

As already mentioned in the contribution of the research topic for the months of May and June 2023, we are currently working on the adaptation of a ringing ball. In order to analyse the movement of the ball in real time, the ringing ball will be equipped with an (inertial) sensor, which will be located in the middle of the ball. The research question is: How can we fix a square (inertial) sensor (side length 2.3 cm) in the centre of the ball as easily as possible and without much manipulation on the following ringing ball with a hole diameter of 2.5 cm?
